Welcome to LPG POS
LPG POS is an app for shops that sell LPG gas cylinders. It keeps your sales, your customers' credit, your cylinder stock and your daily cash in one place, on your phone and on the web.
What you can do
- Sell fast. Record a sale in a few taps, take full, part or no payment, and give the customer a receipt.
- Know who owes you. Every customer has a ledger that shows what they owe and how many of your cylinders they are holding.
- Know where your cylinders are. Filled and empty cylinders in your godown, cylinders out with customers, and stock received from suppliers.
- Keep prices straight. One price for normal customers and a lower one for wholesale customers, with the option to change the price on a single sale.
- See your profit. Reports show sales, cost of gas, expenses and profit.
- Work without internet. The app keeps working offline and saves your work to your account when you are online again.

Both show the same shop. What you record in one appears in the other once your phone is online.
Words used in this manual
| Word | What it means |
|---|---|
| Godown | Your store room where cylinders are kept |
| Filled cylinder | A full cylinder you can sell |
| Empty cylinder | A used cylinder that comes back from a customer |
| Credit | A sale where the customer has not paid yet |
| Outstanding | The total amount customers owe you |
| Ledger | The list of a customer's sales and payments with the balance |
| Opening balance | What a customer already owed you when you started using the app |
| Retail and wholesale price | The normal price, and the lower price for wholesale customers |
